Biography

2015 (Junior Season): Set career highs in all offensive categories including average (.346), doubles (13), RBIs (24) and had a 848 .obs in 56 games played…the 13 doubles tied for second most in Truman single-season history and the 63 hits tied for fourth most in a season…swiped 13 bases out of 22 chances…had a .987 fielding percentage in center field while making several game saving catches…named to the Midwest Regional all-tournament team with a .400 batting average (6-for-15)…hit ninth in the batting order in 54 of the 55 games, had 14 multi-hit games, four three-hit games and reached base in the final 15 games of the season.

2014 (Sophomore Season): Started 12 of 31 games played…played all three outfield positions spending eight games in left field and one other as a DH…hit .159 in 44 at bats and drove in five runs…drove in three of his five against Missouri S&T on March 29 and four of his five during that weekend series with the Miners.

2013 (Freshman Season): Started 13 of 28 games played with a .217 batting average and three doubles…collected hits in four straight and reached base in five straight…went 2-for-4 with a run scored against Emporia State on April 7…had a .971 fielding percentage playing all three outfield positions…named to the MIAA Commissioners Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Wood’s Creighton Prep High School team won the Class A, District A-5 title and as a member of his Nebraska American Legion squad, was a member of the Area A-2 Senior Legion championship, Class A American Division State Title and the State Class A Senior Legion Championship…his team competed in the Central Plains regional tournament where they were eliminated by the eventual World Series champion team from Eden Prairie, Minn….hit .319 during the summer with nine doubles, two home runs and 24 runs batted in…swiped 12 bases.
