Biography
2016 (Junior): Started 27 games at catcher and played in 36 games overall…hit .300 with three doubles and a triple with 12 RBIs…led the team in conference games by hitting .360 in 20 games…tied with Brendan Trimble for second on the team with a 10-game hitting streak during the year…finished the year on an eight-game streak and raised his average from .241 to .300 during that span…threw out eight potential base stealers…earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
2015 (Sophomore): Starting catcher in 43 of the team’s 57 games with a .264 batting average…has one extra base hit and is second on the team with six sacrifices…two of his five multi-hit games were three-hit outings…was hit by pitch eight times in 2015…has thrown out 11 potential base stealers and had a .988 fielding percentage…earned GLVC Academic All-Conference.
2014 (Freshman): Started 22 of 27 games as a catcher…hit .255 with a double and three RBIs…threw out 19 of 36 potential base stealers (52%) and all three attempts by Indianapolis (Ind.) on May 9 during the GLVC tournament…had a pair of multi-hit games, collecting two each against William Jewell (Mo.) on May 3 and Indianapolis on May 9…drove in two of his three runs against Indianapolis on May 9…was named Academic All-GLVC.
High School: Catcher and third basemen for Wentzville Holt and earned Gateway Athletic Conference all-Academic honors...has been a volunteer at the Cardinals Kid Clinic and a member of the National Honor Society.
