2014-15: Made 10 starts and saw action in 28 of team's 30 games as a junior, logging just shy of 19 minutes per game ... averaged 7.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, while shooting 44% from the field overall and 35.7% from three-point range ... reached double-figures eight times, including a season-high 17 point effort behind five three-pointers against Saint Joseph's on Feb. 12 ... 129 of 159 total field goal attempts were three-pointers, connecting on 46 ... made at least two triples in a game 14 times ... grabbed a season-high seven rebounds twice (NSU; 11/23 ... UIS; 1/10) ... finished with 26 steals and 21 offensive rebounds ... named Academic all-GLVC.

2013-2014: Returned from a medical redshirt season to play in all 27 games as a sophomore, averaging 23.7 minutes per game off the bench ... averaged 9.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game ... shot 44% overall from the field, including 42% from three-point range ... hit 71% of his free throws ... added 13 steals and 12 offensive rebounds ... scored in double-figures 12 times, including a career-high 22 points against Southern Indiana on Feb. 6 ... during a four-game stretch against Drury, USI, Bellarmine, and Indianapolis, he averaged 15.8 ppg and shot 54% from the floor with 18 three-pointers ... named academic all-GLVC.

2012-2013: Redshirted ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2011-2012: Played in 26 games as a true freshman, making nine starts and averaging 18.0 minutes per game ... averaged 4.3 points, 1.6 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game ... made 24 three-pointers at a 38% clip while shooting 33% from the field and 73% from the free throw line overall ... scored a career-high 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting (3-7 3FG) and a pair of free throws on Nov. 22 against Quincy ... added 11 points against Hannibal-LaGrange on Feb. 13 ... grabbed a season-high six rebounds in season-opener against Abilene Christian ... posted four assists in a game twice ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School
Vander Zwaag averaged 13.8 points per game his senior season and shot nearly 44% from behind the arc as his knocked down 54 three-pointers.  He was a first team all-Central Iowa Metro League player as well as a CIML senior all-star. He earned all-district team honors and was named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association all-tournament team.
