2020-21: Started all 22 games he appeared in...the former North Dakota forward shot .464 from the field and .439 from three point range in his first year as a Bulldog...also led the team with .911 percent shooting from the foul line...was second on the team with 7.8 rebounds per game, grabbing a season high 18 at Illinois Springfield on 2/11...averaged 10.9 points per game with a season high 19 at Maryville on New Year’s Eve...named Academic All GLVC

North Dakota
Following high school Hazekamp attended North Dakota University, as a true freshmen he appeared in 16 games, averaging 3.6 PPG, 1.9 RPG. Hazekamp redshirted his sophomore. As a redshirt sophomore, Hazekamp brings experience and age to an already experienced Bulldog team.

High School
He played his prep career at Sioux City Bishop Heelan Catholic High School. As a senior Hazekamp averaged 21.5 PPG and 13.0 RPG, recording 19 double doubles while shooting 45% from 3. His senior campaign earned him his second straight 1st Team All State recognition. Elijah’s four year prep career averages were: 16.4 PPG and 10.9 RPG.

Elijah is majoring in Business Management and Exercise Science. He is the son of Rick and Ann Hazekamp, and youngest of four children.
