2017: Played in nine games with six starts in goal ... totaled 460 minutes in net with 23 saves and a save percentage of .767 ... had a goals against average of 1.37 on the season and a record of 2-2 ... played a part in three of the team's shutouts ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.

2016: Appeared in goal in three games, starting two, for a total playing time of 146:40 ... allowed two goals on 22 shots faced and recorded seven saves for a save percentage .778 ... finished with a record of 1-1 with a team-leading 1.23 goals against average ... named Academic All-GLVC.

2015: Tied Drew Orf for the team lead in games appearing in goal with eight and also made six starts there with total time logged coming out to 608:31 ... saved 15 shots and allowed nine goals on 69 shots faced for a goals against average of 1.33 (12th in the GLVC) and save percentage of .625 ... turned in a record of 3-3 which included three-straight victories from Sept. 29 through Oct. 4 over the likes of Lindenwood, Rockhurst and William Jewell ... during that stretch, Truman outscored its opponents 8-3 and Knernschield made a total of 11 saves on 39 shots faced ... named all-Academic GLVC.

2014: Redshirted ... named Academic all-Great Lakes Valley Conference.
