KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman swimming teams competed against Missouri State University for the second time this season as the Bulldogs hosted the Bears for Senior Day.  Casey Jepsen won a pair of events for the women in the dual.

Jepsen won the 200 Free in 1:55.45 and took the 500 Free in 5:13. 43. In addition, Jessica Jenkot won the 50 Free in 24.96.

Allison Harding set a team season-best time in the 1000 free with a time of 11:06.92.

On the men's side, the Bulldogs failed to get an event win but had some season best marks in a pair of events.

In the 50 Free, Etienne Thro swam 21.97 while teammate Michael Hernandez was just behind at 22.23.

A trio of 'Dogs swam season best in the 200 Back as Jerod Simek paced the pack at 2:05.57 followed by Destry Newton on 2:09.91 and Ricky Zott at 2:13.64.

The Truman men will take on Missouri S&T next Friday night in Rolla, Mo. and then will join the women's team for their annual tangle with Drury University in Springfield on Saturday to wrap up the regular season dual schedule.

The women were defeated 135-68 while the men fell 136-57.
