Men's Soccer has Unbeaten Streak Snapped at NSU

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - - The Truman men's soccer team had its six-match unbeaten streak snapped on Friday night at the hands of Northeastern State, as the Riverhawks logged a 4-0 home win against the visiting Bulldogs.

NSU (6-2, 3-1 MIAA) used a pair of goals in each half to get past Truman (4-3-1, 2-1-1 MIAA), who mustered four shots on the night. The Riverhawks scored goals in the 34^th and 35^th minutes before adding tallies in the 67^th and 81^st in the second half for the final outcome.

Andy Chapman had two shots to lead the Bulldogs offensively, while Nick Wallner and Drew Garrone each gave up a pair of goals in net.

Truman returns to action on Sunday (Sept. 30) afternoon, traveling to Harding for a 3 pm match.
