Men's Soccer has Unbeaten Streak Snapped at NSU

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - - The Truman men's soccer team had its six-match unbeaten streak snapped on Friday night at the hands of Northeastern State, as the Riverhawks logged a 4-0 home win against the visiting Bulldogs.
 
NSU (6-2, 3-1 MIAA) used a pair of goals in each half to get past Truman (4-3-1, 2-1-1 MIAA), who mustered four shots on the night. The Riverhawks scored goals in the 34th and 35th minutes before adding tallies in the 67th and 81st in the second half for the final outcome.
 
Andy Chapman had two shots to lead the Bulldogs offensively, while Nick Wallner and Drew Garrone each gave up a pair of goals in net.
 
Truman returns to action on Sunday (Sept. 30) afternoon, traveling to Harding for a 3 pm match.
