ROLLA, Mo. - - Lauren Seawright and Megan Whitehead both scored, and the Truman defense pitched another shutout, as the 22nd-ranked Bulldog women's soccer squad ran its unbeaten streak to 11 with a 2-0 win at Missouri S&T on Friday night.

Seawright beat the halftime buzzer by one second to give the Bulldogs (9-1-2, 8-0-1 GLVC) the lead at the break, as she headed home a bouncing ball amidst a host of players for her second tally of the season. Stephanie Williams was credited with the assist on the play.

Then, in the 63rd minute, Truman got an insurance marker, as Whitehead notched her first collegiate goal by putting home a rebound off a shot that hit the post – giving the 'Dogs a 2-0 lead. Trisha Shoemaker earned her third assist of the season.

Meanwhile, senior Emily Bozdeck and the Bulldog back line kept the Miners (3-4-2, 3-4-2 GLVC) at bay all night, as S&T put just one of its nine total shots on goal. Bozdeck's goals-against average for the season dropped to 0.32, while she also logged her eighth shutout of the 2013 campaign.

The Bulldogs held their spot atop the GLVC standings with Quincy, who left Springfield with a 1-0 win at Drury on Friday night. Truman will face the aforementioned DU Panthers (6-4-2, 4-3-2 GLVC) on Sunday at noon.
