KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - - The Truman men's soccer team surrendered a 15th minute goal that proved to be the difference-maker on a damp Wednesday afternoon, as No. 5 Lindenwood escaped the Bulldog Soccer Park with a 1-0 win against the Bulldogs in a non-conference tilt.

Guillermo Tabuyo scored from just outside the 18-yard box past a diving Drew Garrone at the 14:04 mark for what would end up serving as the game-winning goal.

The Bulldogs (7-5-3) and Lions (13-0-1) played to a nearly dead heat in all major statistical categories, with each team taking 10 shots, including four each on target. Truman earned eight corner kicks to Lindenwood's three, while the squads combined for 34 fouls on a slippery pitch.

Chris Mansfield, Matt Langley and Brandon Visonnavong each took two shots for Truman, who now hits the road for two GLVC matches this Friday and Sunday. The Bulldogs visit Southern Indiana on Friday night at 7:30 pm in Evansville, Indiana.
