Men's Swimming Falls to S&T in Friday Dual

ROLLA, Mo. - - The Truman men's swimming team fell in a dual on Friday night on the campus of Missouri S&T, dropping a 174-87 decision to the host Miners.
 
Will Shanel logged two first-place finishes on the night, touching first in both the 200 Fly (1:56.11) and 200 IM (1:59.44), while both Neil Girmus (100 Breast) and Andrew Smith (200 IM) each locked up a second-place finish in their respective events.
 
The four-man crew of Girmus, George Dowdy, Ben Sherman, and Tim Senholtz also took home top points honors in the 200 Free Relay, finishing with a time of 1:27.79.
 
The Bulldogs will join up with the No. 11 women's team on Saturday for Senior Day in the Pershing Natatorium when both squads face off against NCAA Div. I foe Missouri State. The first event is slated to get underway at 2 p.m.
