RECAP: Missouri S&T Defeats Truman, 2-0

ROLLA, Mo. - The Truman State University men's soccer team concluded this weekend's play with a trip to Missouri S&T on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs gave up two first-half goals to the Miners and that's where the score stood when the final buzzer sounded.

Missouri S&T (4-3-1, 3-3 GLVC) now leads the all-time series with Truman (2-7, 1-5 GLVC) by a count of 23-12-6. Sunday, the Miners' two goals came from Felipe Andrade in the 13th minute and David Murphy in the 43rd.

For the Bulldogs, their 18 shots came from 11 different players with the leader being four attempts by Brian Kane (pictured). Next up were three apiece from Joel Reft and Josh Hall off the bench. As far as the seven looks that were on goal for the Purple and White, Kane had two of them and five other players had one each.

In the team head-to-head, Truman led Missouri S&T in shots (18-11), shots on goal (7-6) and corner kicks (7-4). In goal, the Bulldogs' Zac Suazo made three saves on 10 shots faced.

Next up, Truman will host Maryville on Friday with the start time set for 1 p.m. at Bulldog Soccer Park.
