RECAP: Sloane Totta Scores 24 In Truman's 92-86 Exhibition Loss To Western Illinois

MACOMB, Ill. – Sloane Totta led five Bulldogs in double-figures with 24 points as the Truman Women's Basketball team lost 92-86 in an exhibition game to Division I, Western Illinois University on Sunday afternoon.

Totta was 9-of-18 from the field with four three pointers and added seven rebounds in 32 minutes played. Rachel Edmundson added 19 points on 7-of-21 shooting, Katie Jaseckas with 14 points and nine rebounds and Brooke Bailey scored 12 on four triples.

Truman dominated the boards with a 55-41 advantage over the Fighting Leathernecks. Maddie Re pulled down 13 to take home game high honors.

Annabel Graettinger paced all scorers with 28 points for WIU. She was 10-of-16 at the foul line and 8-of-12 overall from the floor. Taylor Higgenbotham added 21 points and all five WIU starters were in double-figures.

The Bulldogs will play one other preseason exhibition game before the season opener in Nashville, Tennessee on November 9^th. Truman will welcome Illinois College on Tuesday night, October 30^th to Pershing Arena for a 5:30 p.m. tip. Only live stats will be available for that exhibition game.
