PREVIEW: Truman Travels to Drury and Hosts Missouri S&T

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman State University men's soccer team will look to snap a four-match skid this Friday when it travels to Drury before beginning a three-match homestand against Missouri S&T the following Sunday.

The Bulldogs (2-4-3, 0-4-2 GLVC) will also be looking to score their first goal in five outings (0-4-1 record), a stretch in which they've been outscored 12-0. In the four matches prior to that drought, the Purple and White had scored 12 goals to their opponents' five (2-0-2).

Meanwhile, the Panthers (1-8-1, 1-5 GLVC) are coming off their first win of the season, a 3-0 victory over William Jewell on Sunday. As for the Miners (2-7, 2-4 GLVC), their first two wins of the fall have come in their last three matches.

The schedule will not let up for Truman after this week as four of its final five matches will be against teams that are in the top six of the current league standings. Drury (tied for 12th), Missouri S&T (10th) and William Jewell (tied for 12th) join those four as the final seven regular-season opponents for the Bulldogs.

GLVCSN coverage and live stats will be available for all seven of them right here at TrumanBulldogs.com.
