ST. LOUIS - A goal by homestanding Missouri-St. Louis in the seventh minute was the difference for the Truman State University men's soccer team on Friday night as the Bulldogs fell to the Tritons by that score of 1-0.
Truman fell to 2-3-3 overall and 0-3-2 in the GLVC while Missouri-St. Louis improved to 4-4 on the season including 3-2 in league action.
The Bulldogs had just two less total shots (8-6) and one less shot that was on goal (5-4). Saves were even, 4-4, and so were corner kicks, 5-5. The Bulldogs' six shots came from six different players and so did the four shots on target.
Next up, Truman will host Maryville on Sunday with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. at Bulldog Soccer Park.
