The Bulldogs are 7-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while Southern Indiana is 6-2 in the league. Both teams are currently tied is the GLVC's Point Rating System with a rating of 4.0. They PSR is the system used by the league to determine the eight qualifiers and seeding for the postseason basketball tournament. The PSR assigns point values to different wins and losses ranging from seven points for a road win over a team with a .750 or above winning percentage to 0 points to a loss at home to a sub .250 team. The points fluctuate throughout the season based on the team's winning percentage.
