LEBANON, Ill.--The Truman men's and women's swimming teams resumed their season with a dual meet at McKendree Friday, with the Bearcats topping the Bulldogs 166-120 for the women and 208-78 for the men.
Lexi Poe won the 200 freestyle with a 1:54.45 seed time followed by a 1:58.49 finals time, netting the Bulldogs nine points.
Maddie Wilson took third and
Nicole Willis took fifth in the event. Emma Bradham took first in the 100 back with a seed time of 56.22 and 59.69 finals time.
Maddie Duncan got third place and
Natalie Nguyen fourth.
Natalie Nguyen took first in the 200 back with a finals time of 2:10.24.
Ginny Schranck took first in the 200 breast at 2:16.49 seed and 2:28.10 finals time.
Annika Hofer took first in the 100 breast with 1:05.16 seed time and 1:07.00 finals time, while
Allison Garrett took fifth place. Hofer also won the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.08 seed and 2:10.56 finals. Garrett took third in the event while
Sarah Nelson took fifth.
Mark Franz won the 100 breast with a finals time of 56.81.
Jack McKenzie took second in the 100 fly, a standout performance from the senior, with a time of 50.99 seed and 51.60 finals. Michael Franz took third in the event while freshman A.J. Kohler took fifth. The Bulldogs took 1-2 in the 200 freestyle relay with Kohler-
