RECAP: NCAA Championships

GENEVA, Ohio—The Truman swimming teams competed at the NCAA Championships before the event was called off due to health concerns. During the event, Natalie Galluzzo competed in the prelims of the 200 IM (event 3) and finished 29th with a time of 2:05.00. The women's 400 medley relay team of Emma Brabham, Galluzzo, Holly Olson and Kaylee Sisson finished 14th with a time of 3:47.46. The event only got through the prelims.

After the event was called off, coach Jerod Simek said, "although the meet getting cut prematurely was not the result that anyone wanted, the Bulldogs were able to qualify for finals in the women's 400 medley relay. We had put in a lot of work this year and in the last couple of weeks that we anticipated big things on the back end of meet in the men's and women's 100 breast and women's 200 breast!"
