KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – #24 Truman's seven-game winning streak was snapped by the University of Indianapolis on Thursday night 78-74 in overtime.

Mickey Sasson was the dominate player for the Greyhounds as she scored a game-high 20 points with 18 rebounds. Truman got 21 points from Katie Jaseckas and 16 apiece from Hannah Belanger and Ellie Weltha.

Truman shot out to a 7-0 lead and were up 13-4 early in the game. The Bulldog offense got disjointed in the second quarter mustering only four field goals and shooting 25% for those 10 minutes.

At the half, UINDY led 29-28 with seven of Truman's 10 made field goals coming from long range.

The Bulldogs got things going third with 31 points and 11-of-12 shooting (91.7%) and led 59-50 after three quarters. Weltha had 11 points in the frame for the Bulldogs.

The cold streak would hit again as the Bulldogs did not score for over six minutes in the fourth while UINDY quietly went on a 10-0 run to go up 64-62.

Weltha scored the first hoop since the 7:04 mark to tie the game with 38 seconds left off an inbounds play.

The Greyhounds would go back in front on a basket by May Scheidt seven seconds later.

Trailing by two, Belanger went on a drive with under 10 seconds left and got her jumper to fall plus a foul called to tie the game at 66 with seven seconds left.

Belanger missed the freebie and UINDY had a late chance to win the game in regulation.  Their chance on a contested layup did not fall and the game headed to overtime.

The Bulldogs scored the first four points in the overtime and Jaseckas knocked down a triple with 1:50 to play to put Truman up 73-70.
