ST. CHARLES, Mo.—The Truman Men's Soccer team fell 2-0 to Lindenwood Sunday afternoon, being held off the scoreboard once again in GLVC play. The Bulldogs managed four shots on goal over the course of the game, but were unable to find the back of the net.
Gabriel Miranda got Lindenwood on the board in the 13th minute of the game, after Truman had recorded a team save earlier in the half. Jack Knust was the first Bulldog to place a shot on goal, which he did in the 43rd minute but Zachary Martin kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard.
In the second half, Truman found themselves a man up after Gabriel Herrera was sent off with a straight red for Lindenwood. Thomas Weber tested Martin in the 66th minute to no avail, and shortly after Feho Sabotic put the Lions up 2-0. In the late stages of the game, Sam Newton had two shots on goal for the Bulldogs but Martin stopped both shots.
Truman will be back in action at home this weekend as they take on Southern Indiana and McKendree at Bulldog Soccer Park.
