KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Three late Maryville goals in the second half gave the Saints a 4-0 victory against Truman State on a rainy night at Stokes Stadium.
Maryville's Victor DeGiorgio had a match to remember for the Saints, scoring a hat-trick and assisting Mirza Hasecic on another goal.
The Bulldog offense was quiet, managing only one shot and none on goal. Luke Payne was the only Truman player to get a shot off.
Truman Goalkeeper Justin Olwig had a solid game despite allowing the four goals, making some great saves that would have been added to the Maryville lead.
Truman plays again on Sunday, September 25, at 2:30 p.m., at Stokes Stadium.
