KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State Men's soccer drew against Lewis on Friday night, with the game finishing with a 1-1 final score.
Both teams scored within the first 16 minutes of the game, with Nathan Grewe getting the Bulldogs on the board in the sixth minute. Grewe's goal was assisted by Sam Newton and Luke Payne. Lewis matched in the 15th minute on a score from Lewis Holzer.
Truman State had 10 shots on goal in the first-half, and Lewis had seven.
Each team had five shots in the second-half, with two Bulldog shots being on goal.
Truman had seven shots on goal in the match and Lewis had six.
Justin Olwig made five saves to have 51 on the season and only allowing nine in total.
Truman State now stands at 6-3-3 overall and 5-2-3 in GLVC play.
The Bulldogs will honor their seniors on Sunday against Indianapolis at noon.
