KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman State Swimming teams split a dual with GLVC member Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday at home. The Bulldog women defeated the Tritons 121-102 while the men were downed 151.5 to 74.5.
Emily Traube won three individual events for the Bulldog women while
Chloe Myers and
Sidney Durbin were double winners. Traube won the 100 back, 50 and 100 freestyle races. Myers was the first swimmer in the 100 breast and 100 fly and Durbin won the 200 fly and 200 IM.
Meg Heveroh was the victor in the 200 free. She also swam the opening leg of the winning 400 free relay race with
Emma Harris,
Kylie Strobl and Traube at anchor.
A.J. Kohler was the triple winner on the men's side. He won the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle races while
Evan Grinter was the first Bulldog to touch the wall in the 100-backstroke event.
The Bulldogs will next compete at the Phoenix Fall Classic hosted by the University of Chicago (Ill.) starting on November 17
th.
