RESULTS
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Truman Swimming teams were on the short end of a dual with Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) University in a meet on Saturday. The women lost 117-112 and the men lost 173-58.
Ouachita earned extra points in the meet with 26 on the women's side and 29 on the men's side with the inclusion of both one and three meter diving events. Truman State does not sponsor diving.
The teams will be off from competition until January 12th when they will host William Jewell (Mo.) in the Pershing Natatorium.
Meet Highlights:
- Meg Heveroh won the women's 1000 free in a time of 10:15.12, Abby Bomball was third in 11:09.59. Heveroh won the 500 free (5:01.00) with Taylor Graham second (5:16.43).
- A.J. Kohler claimed the 200 free with a race time of 1:39.37 and 100 free (46.17).
- Emily Traube was the victor in the 50 free (23.93) and the 100 free (52.20).
- Emma Harris touched in 2:08.91 to win the 200 backstroke.
- Chloe Myers and Allison Heaney finished 1-2 in the 200 breastroke. Myers swam 2:29.53 and Heaney in 2:30.34.
- The 400 free relay team of Heveroh, Kylie Strobl, Harris and Traube won the event in 3:31.73.
