KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Bulldog men's soccer team three match winning streak was halted by Illinois Springfield on Sunday when the Prairie Stars made a second half goal stand up in a 1-0 victory over Truman State.
Corne Boshoff scored his first of the season off a centering pass by Lucas Harris in the 51st minute to break the scoreless tie.
Luke Payne had the only shot for Truman on the day and it was saved by UIS keeper Andrea Scapolo. Justin Olweg stopped five of six UIS shots on goal.
The Bulldogs will be at Southwest Baptist on Friday and Drury University on Sunday for the next weekend of conference games.
