KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State Men's basketball suffered their seventh loss of the 2023-24 season to conference foe Indianapolis 86-48.
The game was tied 11-11 with 12:08 left in the first-half until the Greyhounds went on a 10-0 run to take an early advantage. Truman State clawed their way back and cut the lead to five at the 4:33 mark, but UINDY gained momentum back and went into the half up 34-25.
The second-half is where UINDY started to pull away, going up 25 with more than 15 minutes remaining in the game.
The Greyhounds soon went on to take over the game, winning by 38.
Blaise Porter was Truman's top scorer with 10. He was the only Bulldog to reach double-digit points. Porter also had two rebounds and two assists.
Trey Shearer, Xavier Hall, and Casen Lawrence all had six points. Hall and Shearer each had three assists which led Truman.
Joe Knutson, CE Talton, Brennan Lovette, Kobi Williams, and Jermarco Burse Jr. all recorded points in the game.
The Bulldogs look to get on the right track at Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday, January 6th, at 3 p.m.
