ST. LOUIS, MO. – Two quick UMSL goals with twenty to play broke a 1-1 stalemate and end Truman State Men's Soccer season with a 3-1 loss.
 
Jack Johnson scored the lone Bulldog goal in the 34th minute, the first of his career, to even the score at one in the bid to be spoiler and prevent UMSL from making the GLVC Conference Tournament. Tyler Bouckaert assisted on the tally to record a point in a fourth-consecutive match with two goals and two assists in the stretch.
 
Truman State finishes its 2024 campaign 4-7-5 overall, 3-6-5 GLVC, while UMSL climbed to 5-3-6 overall, 7-4-6 GLVC on a four-match winning streak to punch its postseason ticket.
