ST. LOUIS - Both Truman State Swimming teams were in action on Saturday at fellow Great Lakes Valley Conference member Missouri-St. Louis for a dual meet. The Tritons swept both with the men winning 197.5-64.5 and the women 160-101. The Bulldogs will compete in the annual midseason Phoenix Fall Classic in Chicago starting on November 22.
Individual winners for Truman State were Emily Traube in both the 50 and 100 freestyle swims. She went 24.39 in the 50 and 53:09 in the 100. Meg Heveroh won the 100 butterfly in 1:00.26. Colin Wolfmeyer finished in a dead-heat tie in the men's 50 free to split the first place points. Wolfmeyer touched the wall at 22.47.Â
Heveroh finished second in both the 200 and 500 freestyle events. Other silver medalist finishes belonged to Allison Heaney in both he 200 IM and 200 breast stroke, Taylor Graham in the 1000 free, Kylie Strobl in the 100 back and Sydney Durbin in the 200 fly. For the men, Jacob Wolf finished second in both the 200 IM and 200 back, A.J. Kohler in both the 100 fly and 200 free, Peyton Sewell in the 1000 free and Eli Springvleod in the 500 free.
