Kirksville, Mo. - The Truman State Bulldog Men's Soccer Team picked up a 1-0 victory at home over St. Cloud St. (Minn.) University to open season play.

Sophomore midfielder Daniel Riazi found the back of the net in the 75th minute to break the scoreless tie. While the Bulldogs were outshot 11-7, senior keeper Justin Olwig came up with five saves to keep St. Cloud St. off the scoreboard. Both sophomores Zachary Painter and Landon Keisker tallied two shots each.

Truman State returns to action Sept. 10 when it travels to Columbia, Mo., to square off against Columbia College.
