KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Truman State Baseball held off the Lincoln (Mo.) Blue Tigers to take Game 1 of the weekend series, 5-4.

Danny Lindsey picked up his first collegiate win working 6.2 innings with a career-high seven strike outs. The freshman allowed four runs – all earned – surrendering back-to-back two-run home runs in the sixth and seventh innings.
Bryce Balistreri worked a scoreless 2.1 innings in relief for the first save of his career.

Quinten Bauman's first career home run, leading off the Bulldog sixth, provided the margin of victory for the Purple and White.
