JOPLIN, Mo. - - The Truman volleyball team got a balanced effort offensively and hit a collective .321 in a 3-0 sweep of Missouri Southern on Friday night.

The Bulldogs (9-3, 3-1 MIAA) jumped on MSSU (0-12, 0-3 MIAA) early in each of the first two sets, winning the first 25-20 and the second 25-10 before taking the third by a 25-23 margin. Megan Sharpe and Allie Brak finished with eight kills each, while Emily Briseno added seven kills and three blocks. Meghan Zimmerman put down six kills on eight attempts and added 30 assists, while Brak totaled a team-best nine digs defensively.

Six different Bulldogs hit better than .400 on a night when the purple and white made just 11 total errors. Truman's most efficient set came in the second, when the squad hit .562 while holding MSSU to a -.038 mark.

Truman travels to Warrensburg for a Saturday evening showdown with the 8^th-ranked Central Missouri Jennies. Tomorrow night's first serve is set for 7:00 pm.
