ATCHISON, Kan. - The Bulldog wrestling team moved to 4-1 on the season with a 32-15 non-conference dual win against Benedictine (Kan.). Truman will host MIAA rival Central Missouri on Wednesday night in Pershing Arena.
Freshman JJ Dorrell got things started with a 12-3 major victory in the 125-pound match.
The Ravens countered with wins at 133 and 141 to take a 9-4 lead before Truman's duo of
Ryan Maus and
Colton Schmitz picked up fall victories for the Bulldogs.
Luke Knocke kept the momentum going with his own pinball win at 165.
Nate Seiler and
Helmut Rentschler won at 184 and 197 to secure the dual win. Seiler won by fall and Rentschler won by major.
