Game 1 Recap - #25 Truman 1, Northwest Missouri 0
A pair of efficient pitching performances highlighted Truman's 1-0 game one victory against Northwest, with a Liz Leath second inning solo shot marking the difference as the Bulldogs won their 25th game of the season.

Leath sent the first pitch of her at-bat over the left field wall for her fourth home run of the 2014 campaign, giving Truman a 1-0 lead in the second inning.

Kelsea Dorsey, meanwhile, gave up only three hits – two coming with two outs in an inning – while striking out six in the complete game shutout. She used just 84 pitches to retire the 25 Bearcat batters that stepped to the plate, running her record to 12-3 on the season.

Danielle Lewellen led the Bulldogs with two hits from the top of the lineup.

Game 2 Recap - #25 Truman 4, Northwest Missouri 1
Truman used a first inning home run and a Bearcat fifth inning miscue to pick up a 4-1 game two victory and earn the doubleheader sweep.

Andrea Klipsch lifted the ninth pitch of her first inning at-bat past the center field wall to stake Truman to an early 1-0 advtange.

The Bearcats would tie the game in the fourth on a solo shot by cleanup hitter Chantel Adams, but the Bulldogs strung together three hits and used a Bearcat error for the back-breaker to add three insurance runs in the fifth. Kelsey Bollman reached on a fielder's choice with one out in the inning, providing both Cate Simon and Jessica VanNostrand single opportunities to put Truman back on top. Following a Leath walk that loaded the bases, Alexis VanNostrand put a ball in play that was mishandled by the Bearcat shortstop, skittering the ball into left field and allowing two more runs to score.

Kindra Henze logged her 14th win of the season in the circle, throwing the complete game three-hitter while striking out eight.

Klipsch led the Bulldogs with two hits.
