Wrestling Takes Two Of Three Duals At Millikin

DECATUR, Ill. – The Truman Wrestling team took two out of three at the Millikin Duals on Saturday. The Bulldogs lost to the host 31-12 then defeated Calumet College 49-3 and the University of Chicago 42-7.

Five Bulldogs went undefeated on the day. Jeremy Dorrell, Roark Whittington, Dustin McClintock and Chase Wrisinger all went 3-0 and Ethan Rentschler picked up two wins, both by falls, in his only matches of the day.

Samuel Reeves had two wins by fall but suffered his only loss to Myron Hamilton of Millikin on riding time 4-3. Austin Dovin lost his only match by fall but picked up a fall win over Matt Hedrick of Calumet and a 5-4 win over Joseph Scheidt from Chicago.

The Bulldogs will square off against William Penn (Iowa) in Pershing Arena on December 4.
