Men's Tennis - Grinnell 6, Truman 3

GRINNELL, Iowa. – The Bulldog Men's Tennis team lost 6-3 to Grinnell (Iowa) University in their spring season debut on Sunday.
 
Truman got off to a great start with Jake Ohlhausen and Griffin Smith winning the number one doubles match 8-4 and Matt Peterson and Paul Province getting the second doubles contest by an 8-5 score to stake the Bulldogs to a 2-1 lead.
 
Ohlhausen grabbed the Bulldogs lone singles point with a come-from-behind victory at number one singles. After falling 6-4 in the first set, Ohlhausen took set two 6-4 and the third set 6-3 for the win.
 
The other five singles match went the way of Grinnell  with only Province pushing for a third set at number four singles (7-5, 2-6, 7-5).
 
The Bulldogs fall to 1-4 in duals and will next be in action at home on February 28 against the University of Illinois Springfield.
