Tennis Recap: Bellarmine 9, Truman 0

PRINCIPIA, Ill. – The Truman Men's Tennis team dropped a 9-0 dual to Bellarmine (Ky.) University on Sunday afternoon in Principia, Illinois. The Bulldogs will face Northwest Missouri State on March 7 in Kirksville.
 
The Knights swept all three double matches with the closest being the number one match. Anton Rabinov and Alan Gariner held on to down Jake Ohlhausen and Griffin Smith by an 8-5 count.
 
In singles, Ohlhausen took set one from Rabinov 6-4 but the Bellarmine player rallied with a 6-2 win in set two and edged out Ohlhausen by a break 10-8 in the third set for the win.
 
The other five singles fell by the way of Bellarmine by straight sets.
 
The Bulldogs drop to 1-5 overall.
