Wrestling Recap: Truman 36, Hannibal-LaGrange 7

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Bulldog Wrestling team won their second straight dual as they downed Hannibal-LaGrange 36-7 on Tuesday night in Pershing Arena.

Truman received an open at 125 and Ethan Rentschler scored a major decision at 133 to stake the Bulldogs to the early lead.

Joe King followed with a major win at 141 and Rafael Lopez pinned Dakota Huss in the second period to extend Truman's margin out to 20-0.

Dustin McClintock scored a 9-5 win at 165 and Chase Wrisinger won by major at 184.

Sam Reeves picked up his team leading 21^st win of the season in a grueling match at 197. Reeves got a first period takedown then wasted little time escaping to start the second period to score his points in the 3-2 win over Nigel Burnett.

Mike Wright battled Austin Dovin to a 3-2 decision using a reversal following a Dovin takedown to earn the victory.

Truman improves to 7-9 in duals and will next be in action at home against Benedictine (Kan.) College on Friday, February 5^th.
