RECAP: Truman Wrestling Sweeps Duals At Millikin

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman Wrestling team went 3-0 at the Millikin Duals on Saturday with victories over the host school, Manchester University and Calumet College. The team also sent wrestlers to compete at the Coe (Iowa) College Open.

Five Bulldogs posted perfect 3-0 records in the duals. Jeremy Dorrell at 125 had two tech fall wins during the afternoon. Caleb Osborn had a pair of wins by fall at 133. Dustin McClintock had two pins and a major decision win at 165. Steven Serbinski had three decision wins at 174 and Jules Joseph had three wins, including one in overtime at 197.

Truman three wins in the duals came by scores of 38-6 (Manchester), 28-21 over Calumet and 22-16 over Millikin.

At the Coe Invitational, freshman Shane Gallagher had the lone individual win with an 11-9 overtime victory over Hunter Braun (Coe) in the opening match of the 174-pound bracket.

The Bulldogs return to the mats with a dual with William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa on December 1^st.
