• TOP 1: Truman had a scoring chance out of the gate, as, after two strikeouts to start, junior Lex Van Nostrand singled before redshirt senior Cate Simon drew a hit-by-pitch. However, the Bulldogs couldn't capitalize, as a third strikeout closed the inning.
• BOT 3: UAH put the first two runs of the day on the board in this half inning, beginning with back-to-back singles sandwiched around a stolen base for a 1-0 lead. Then, later in the inning, with one out and runners on second and third, the Chargers plated a second run on a sacrifice fly. A flyout to center field ended the inning. 2-0 UAH lead.
• BOT 5: Huntsville found a third insurance run in the home half of the fifth, as a one-out bunt single preceded two hit by pitches to load the bases. UAH came through with another sacrifice fly, before a flyout to right field ended the threat. 3-0 UAH lead.
• TOP 7: The Bulldogs put two runners on with two outs in the final inning, as sophomore Ashley Murphy reached on a fielder's choice and advanced to second on a single by freshman Christa Reisinger. Freshman pinch-hitter Michaela Mooney stepped in as the tying run but was retired on an infield groundout.
• NOTABLE STATS: Truman tallied five hits to six for UAH, but the Bulldogs stranded eight runners to just five for the Chargers. Junior Kelsea Dorsey took the loss, falling to 2-1 this year, after giving up six hits and three runs (all earned) in a complete game. She did not walk a batter and struck out one.

• TOP 1: For the second straight game, the Bulldogs pieced together a first-inning scoring chance, as Reisinger and sophomore Riley Cook found themselves standing on third and second base, respectively, with nobody out. However, Truman couldn't plate a go-ahead run in the first at-bat, as a fielder's choice groundout, an infield groundout, and a flyout kept the 'Dogs off the board.
• BOT 2: UAH struck first with two in the home half of the second, as five of the first six batters of the inning (strikeout, single, single, double, walk, walk) reached base. Truman kept the damage limited though, as senior starter Kindra Henze induced a lineout and a flyout to close the inning. 2-0 UAH lead.
• TOP 3: Truman picked up one run back just a half-inning later, as Reisinger reached on an error and advanced to second to lead off. After a sacrifice bunt by Cook pushed her to third, Van Nostrand earned a sacrifice bunt RBI groundout to plate Reisinger as an unearned run on out No. 2. 2-1 UAH lead.
• BOT 3: The Chargers picked the two-run lead right back up in the bottom half, as a two-out RBI single snuck through the right side, scoring one run before a second was nailed at the plate on a throw from freshman right fielder Morgan McMahan. 3-1 UAH lead.
• NOTABLE STATS: Neither team scored after the third inning, as Henze finished with a six-inning, five-hit, five-strikeout line. The Bulldogs totaled four hits.
