Bulldogs Breakthrough With 9-0 Win Over Knox

Men's Match: Truman 9, Knox 0

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Bulldog Men's Tennis team dominated Knox (Ill.) College on Sunday afternoon to pick up their first dual win of the spring by a 9-0 score. The will open up conference action at home Friday, April 1 against Drury (Mo.) at 2 p.m.

Truman swept through the three doubles matches earning wins in each. Paul Province and Austin Buck blitzed Tung Nguyen and Brendon Alaniz 8-0.

All six singles matches were straight set winners for the Bulldogs. Buck did not allow his opponent to win a game in his 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Errol Kaylor at number five. Province, Griffin Turnage and Brian Lavalle also cruised to 6-0 first set wins before taking the second by 6-3 tallies.
