Bulldog Tennis Falls In GLVC Finale

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Rockhurst Hawks blanked the Truman Tennis teams in their final GLVC match of the season. The Hawks took both matches by 9-0 scores.

Savannah Everett and Elise Mousseau battled to an 8-5 loss at number three doubles and Marisa Thome and Lindsey Schlichting lost 8-4 at number one for the Bulldogs. All six singles matches went to the Hawks in straight sets.

Rockhurst earned all three doubles points with scores of 8-2, 8-0 and 8-3. The tightest singles match was at number three as Gavin Hatter fell 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 to Daniel Chmielewski of the Hawks.
