KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - In their final home matches of the fall portion of the 2016-17 season, the Truman men's and women's tennis teams fell to Illinois Springfield by scores of 6-3 and 8-1, respectively.

The men took three pairings including Frazier over Featherston, Thiele over Fitzsimmons and Frazier/Jarvis over Fitzsimmons/Timm. In the women's match, the Bulldogs won No. three singles, Schlichting against Thornhill. Next up on the schedule, the men's team is at Judson on Oct. 15 to round out its fall season and the women will travel to Missouri-St. Louis on Oct. 7-8 before the fall finale at Judson the week after.
