Wrestling Challenges #3 Maryville In Conference Action

RESULTS

ST. LOUIS – The Bulldog Wrestling team lost to #3 Maryville (Mo.) 42-9 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference dual on Friday night. Truman will be back in action on Saturday travelling to #5 McKendree (Ill.) University.

J.J. Dorrell once again got Truman off to a winning start. Dorrell won be decision, a 12-6 score, over Alex Waggoner of the Saints. He is now 17-10 in the 125 Weight Class and has won seven of his last eight matches. He is 3-0 in conference.

Rafael Lopez got Truman's other points via forfeit at 141.

The Saints won the other seven contested matches by either tech fall, pin fall or major decision.

Truman falls to 7-9 in duals this season and 1-2 in the GLVC.
