RECAP: McKendree Takes Down Bulldog Wrestling

LEBANON, Ill. - #5 McKendree downed the Truman Wrestling team by a score of 50-0 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference dual on Saturday evening. The Bulldogs will wrap up their conference slate next Saturday in Springfield against Drury and UW-Parkside.

Jarrett Reisenbichler handed Truman's J.J. Dorrell his first conference loss in the opening bout. Reisenbichler got a quick escape to start the second period and later scored a takedown to go up 3-0. Dorrell got an escape before the end of the second to get his first point of the match.

Reisenbichler controlled Dorrell in the third to gain the one-minute riding time advantage. Dorrell got an escape but couldn't takedown the Bearcat to fall by the final score 4-2.

McKendree took the remaining nine matches for the shutout victory.
