ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Truman Wrestling team competed in three duals against three nationally-ranked opponents on Sunday as part of the Lombardi Duals hosted by Maryville University.
 
The Bulldogs lost to #4 Maryville 45-0, #6 McKendree 40-6 and #18 Indianapolis 39-9.
 
Sam Reeves picked up the only win, via forfeit at 197-pounds against the Bearcats and was a winner by a 4-1 decision over Indianapolis' Brody Conner in the last match of the day.
 
Ashton Mutuwa picked up the other Truman win against UINDY with a walkover at 285.
 
The Bulldogs will take next weekend off to prepare for the NCAA Super Regional in Moorhead, Minnesota. It is the qualifying tournament for the national championships and will be spread over two days on February 24-25.
