RECAP: #6 Lindenwood Defeats Truman Wrestling Tuesday

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The #6 Lindenwood Lions downed the Truman Wrestling team 57-0 in an NCAA Division II dual on Tuesday evening.

Zach Williard was defeated by Tanner Hitchcock 14-2 at 133 pounds. Edison Brooks defeated Nathan Wutherlich by fall at 1:36 in the 149-pound match. Marshall Green defeated Zach Taylor by technical fall at 165. Jorge Guerrero defeated Vin Kriegshauser by fall at 3:31 in the 174-pound match.

At 197, Jared McKindley defeated Shane Gallagher with a first period fall at 2:10 and Jules Joseph made his season debut at heavyweight and was pinned by Tage McNutt at the 1:59 mark.

The team will face a pair of DII heavyweights in Central Oklahoma and Nebraska Kearney this weekend in Kearney, Nebraska they travel to Warrensburg for the Central Missouri Denker Open.
