RECAP: Wrestling Faces Hannibal La Grange/Marian In Dual Action

HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Bulldog Wrestling team squared off against Marian (Ind.) and Hannibal-LaGrange in a double dual on Monday night on the road.

Against HLG, Zach Williard scored a 9-4 decision win over Joe Lupton at 133. Zach Taylor defeated Kaleb Greening 8-6 at 165 while Shane Gallagher lost by fall in the first period at 197. The final score was Hannibal-LaGrange 36, Truman 0.

Williard wrestled at 141 against Marian and was downed 10-5. Taylor lost a match 1-0 that was decided by advantage time and Gallagher lost by tech fall 16-0. Marian was the victor in the team score 41-0.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday at the Central Baptist College Invite in Arkansas.
