KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The final road weekend is upon Truman Women's Soccer as they will travel to Missouri S&T on Friday and Maryville University on Sunday before finishing up the regular season with four straight home matches.

The Bulldogs held serve in their two previous home dates with a 2-1 win over Drury last Friday and a 4-0 victory over Southwest Baptist on Sunday. Chance Douglass scored twice and added an assist to earn the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.  Douglass had the game-winning goal that broke a 1-1 tie against Drury then assisted on the first goal and scored the insurance goal against the Bearcats.

The wins kept Truman in the eighth spot in the GLVC standings with a 5-4 conference mark. Rockhurst leads the league at 8-1 followed by McKendree at 7-1-1, Maryville is third at 6-2-1 and Southern Indiana is fourth at 6-3.

Among the six matches left for Truman, three are against teams below them in the standings (Missouri S&T/Lindenwood/Missouri-St. Louis) while three are ahead (McKendree/Maryville/Southern Indiana).

Maryville is 2-2 in their last four matches and split last weekend's encounters against UMSL and Lindenwood. They defeated the Tritons 1-0 behind a goal from Amanda Kaltwasser but were blanked against the Lions 2-0.
