INDIANAPOLIS – Tatum Damron has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Damron earned her second Player of the Week honor for her career and made 12 of 13 saves this past weekend in road games at Upper Iowa and Lewis (Ill.) University. She faced a season-high 17 shots with seven on target in Truman State's 1-1 draw with Upper Iowa to earn their first league point.
 
On Sunday, Damron faced 15 shots with six needing to be snared for the 3-0 clean sheet victory over Lewis. It was her third shutout of the season and 14^th of her career moving her two back of eighth on the all-time shutout list at the school.
 
Damron was last the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week a year ago (September 25) after posting shutouts against Quincy (Ill.) and Illinois Springfield.
