The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its postseason volleyball awards on Thursday evening at the conference tournament banquet, and Truman State was strongly represented. Tori Creason, Autumn Erickson, Addy Janssen, and Michaela Goad were all named to the All-GLVC Second Team, while Lily Porter was selected as a James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree.
The four All-GLVC selections mark the first postseason award winners of Head Coach David Gannon's tenure and highlight a breakout 2025 campaign that included the program's first conference tournament appearance since 2020.
All-GLVC Second Team Selections
Tori Creason – Jr., Setter
Creason guided the Bulldog offense all season, finishing with 712 assists (7.42 per set) to lead Truman by a wide margin. She also contributed 26 aces, 241 digs, and a team-best .275 hitting percentage among non-middles. Her consistency and command at the net made her one of the league's top facilitators across 96 sets played.
Autumn Erickson – So., Middle Blocker
Erickson emerged as Truman's most efficient attacker in 2025, ranking first on the team in kills (207) and hitting an impressive .320, one of the best marks among GLVC hitters. She also added 67 total blocks, 25 service aces, and 74 digs, showcasing her two-way impact.
Addy Janssen – So., Libero
Janssen anchored the back row with one of the strongest defensive seasons in the league. She finished with 471 digs, averaging 4.91 per set, good for one of the top marks in the GLVC. She also added 20 service aces and 122 assists, leading Truman's serve-receive patterns and stabilizing the Bulldogs' transition defense.
Michaela Goad – So., Outside Hitter
Goad delivered a standout sophomore campaign, finishing second on the team in kills with 195 (2.29/set) while hitting .233 and contributing 88 digs and 42 total blocks. She was one of the Bulldogs' most dependable scoring options, producing double-digit kills in numerous conference matches and holding a consistent offensive presence throughout 85 sets.
James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Honoree
Lily Porter – So., Right Side
Porter was selected as Truman's representative for the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award, recognizing her integrity, leadership, and commitment to the values of fair play on and off the court. Porter contributed 99 kills, 32 total blocks, and 13 aces this season while also serving as one of the program's most positive and steadying voices. Her selection reflects both her athletic contributions and her exemplary conduct within the campus and GLVC communities.
The Bulldogs' four All-GLVC honorees and sportsmanship recognition showcase the depth, growth, and culture of a team that took significant strides in 2025, both on the court and in the way it represents Truman State University.
