KIRKSVILLE, Mo.  – Six Truman State Basketball players were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators. Women's players Emma Bulman, Jordan Cunningham, Gracie Neff, and Molly Joyce were joined by men's players Casen Lawrence and Trey Shearer.
 
Cunningham has been selected as a finalist on the CSC Academic All-America national ballot with honorees announced April 16. This season's selections are the third for Bulman and Shearer with Neff and Lawrence making their second appearances.
 
To be eligible for the award, players must have a minimum 3.50 grade point average and have competed in 90% of their institution's games during the season. In addition, schools are limited to a capped number of nominations.
